Kendrick Whiteman

Kendrick Whiteman is a Northern Arapaho from the Wind River Indian Reservation and currently based in Anchorage, Alaska. He is a multimedia artist with experience in several artistic mediums such as drawing, music, writing, acting and filmmaking.
Having shown interest in art at a very young age, he spent his formative years in school producing and even selling music for local artists and had even directed a short documentary which played once at the Alaskan Heritage Center and the INDIgenesis film festival.
Kendrick was also a frequent co-host on a non-profit public radio show called “In Other News” up until the 2018 Anchorage earthquake that destroyed the CITC studio they’d broadcast from.
